Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive - Taipei

<p>Upon arrival at Taoyuan Airport, you will be welcomed and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free at your own leisure for the rest of the day.</p>

Day 2: Taipei – Hsinchu – Taichung

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel lobby. Proceed to the tour of the day; visit National CKS Memorial Hall (National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall), the most impressive monument to the great Chinese Hero. The hall’s enormous marble edifice towers over landscaped garden, graceful pavilions, and placid ponds. Transfer to Neiwan Old Street, line with traditional wooden architectures and stores. Visit Gaomei Wetland, located on the south of the mouth of Dajia River is a land mixed with both sand and soil textures and comes in 1,500 acres. At night, go to one of the famous night market “Feng Jia Night Market” which near by the Feng Chia University.</p>

Day 3: Taichung – Nantou – Kaohsiung

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel. Visit Rainbow village, the only place in Taiwan with lots of colorful graffiti, a street art in Taichung. Visit Sun Moon Lake, the largest lake in Taiwan and there is an island called “Guang Hua Island” in the middle of the lake. Continue to Wen Wu Temple, to enshrine and worship Confucius, Guan Gong and Yue Faye. Proceed to Ida Shao, a unique locality comprised of its tribal atmosphere, mountain scenery and lake scenery. The shops along the streets are also packed with eye-catching snacks and souvenirs. At night, go to night market. There are 100++ stalls, most of them serve snack and provide entertainment and games for recreation, the garments/apparels and groceries are rarely seen in the market.</p>

Day 4: Kaohsiung – Taitung

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel. Proceed to the Lotus Lake, the famous scenic area on the northern outskirts of Kaohsiung City is noted for its profusion of temples, with the Confucius Temple at its northern edge and in the south, the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas and the Spring and Autumn Pavilions. The lake is most beautiful in the late afternoon, when the setting sun is reflected in the water. Visit Taroko Park, a commercial complex consists of the shopping area. Visit Pingtung Orchard (fruit picking at your own expenses). Check-in to Hot Spring Hotel. (Please bring your own swimsuit & cap)</p>

Day 5: Taichung – Hualien

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel lobby. Visit Mr Brown Avenue (Bolang Dadao), a road running through golden rice fields with a beautiful, picturesque setting. Described as a “green road of paradise”, open road is a favorite for cyclists and visitors wanting to ride comfortably through peaceful fields with a beautiful mountain view. Proceed to Chihshang’s Lunchbox Museum, displays evolvement and history of lunchboxes, the side dishes traditional kitchen stoves, farming tools, and utensils. Here visitors are taken back in time of Japanese ruling when the first Chihshang lunchbox was made..</p>

Day 6: Taipei

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel lobby. Visit Taroko National Scenic Area, one of Taiwan’s most beautiful sights. Created by the continual rising of the mountains combined with the erosive power of the Liwu River, Taroko Gorge with its tall, almost flat walls are a true marvel to view. Transfer to 101 Xinyi Shopping District, the newest area of urban Taipei.</p>

Day 7: Taipei - Departure

<p>After breakfast at the hotel, free at leisure until time for transfer to Taoyuan Airport for your flight departure.</p>
