Day-by-Day Itinerary
<p>Upon arrival, meet & greet with local guide and transfer to check in hotel. Overnight at Lahore.</p>
<p>After breakfast, visit the historic capital of Mughal and Sikh empires also, Lahore Museum – Gandharan Art – Badshahi Mosque. Continue to Lahore Fort a “World Heritage Site”. In afternoon, visit Wazir Khan Mosque and the Famous Shahi Hamam. Visit Anarkali Bazaar for shopping and return to hotel. Overnight at Lahore.</p>
<p>After breakfast, visit the Jahangir’s Tomb, the only Mughal Emperor and the Dilkusha Garden. Return to hotel for some rest. Continue in afternoon to Shalimar Garden World Heritage Site and visit Wagah border for witnessing the “Flag Lowering Ceremony”– the lowering of the flags ceremony at the Wagah border is a daily military practice. Transfer back to Lahore, watch Sufi Music (only on Thursday) and dinner. Overnight at Lahore.</p>
<p>After breakfast, drive to Islamabad and visit the Kewra Salt mines the second largest salt deposits in the world. After visiting Kewra, continue drive to continue the drive to Peshawar on the newly built motorway. Upon arrival, check in to hotel for fresh up and proceed to visit Peshawar’s fabled “street of story tellers”—Qissa Khwani Bazaar—which is known as the Piccadilly of central Asia. Overnight at Peshawar.</p>
<p>After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Peshawar Museum a most impressive building previously known as Victoria hall. Continue to visit the Peshawar’s fabled known as the Piccadilly of central Asia, , Coppersmiths Bazaar, Peshawar Pottery, Bird Bazaar, Grain Bazaar, Andarshah Bazaar, Peshawar’s last remaining Mughal Mosque, the seventeenth century Mahabat Khan Mosque, and Cunningham Clock tower. After lunch, drive to Swat visit Takht-e-Bahi Buddhist Monastry (World Heritage site). Upon arrival at Swat, check in hotel and overnight.</p>
<p>After breakfast, visit the Swat Museum and Saidu Baba Mosque which was built in memory of the former King of Swat. Continue to visit famous archaeological sites of Butkara I, and Saidu Stupa. In the afternoon visit the Mingora Bazaar famous for its embroidered textiles, wood work and for its semi-precious stones, such as emeralds and rubies. Return to the hotel for overnight.</p>
<p>After breakfast and check out, return to Rawalpindi – Islamabad passing through the Malakand Pass, Chakdara and following the Grand Trunk Road. Continue proceed to Taxila to visit this fascinating Greco-Buddhist site. Then visit Sirkap, the 2nd BC remains of the Bactrian Greek city at Taxila. After Taxila, transfer to hotel for fresh up. After fresh up, transfer to airport for your flight departure.</p>
