ARRIVAL PARO – THIMPU
Arrive Paro, Druk Air flight to Paro is one of the most spectacular of all mountain flights. Whether flying along the Himalayan range over the foothills, each flight is a mesmerizing feat and offers exciting descent into the Kingdom. On arrival at the airport you will be accorded a very warm reception by our representative of the company. Then drive to Thimpu, the modern capital town of Bhutan. In Thimpu visit Trashichhodzong/ Thimpu Dzong. The seat of the government.
Overnight at Thimpu. Dinner at Local Restaurant or in the Hotel.
THIMPU – PUNAKHA
Morning sightseeing of Thimpu valley includes visit to National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, Takin mini Zoo, Post office for stamp. Then drive to Punakha. On the way, stop at Do Chula Pass (Alt. 3050m.) for tea/coffee and enjoy our first view of the eastern Himalayan Mountains. Visit Punakha Dzong, which lies between two rivers known as Phochu and Mochu, Symbolizing the masculine and the feminine co-existence their currents are of different colors and they unite at this spot. Visit Chimi Lhakhang in Lobesa, a temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley, who as the famous saint of the Bhutanese people is known affectionately as “Divine Mad Monk”. Overnight at Punakha.
PUNAKHA – PARO
After breakfast drive back to Paro for another 3 hours. Lunch in Paro. Continue with tour of Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong). The Paro Dzong is probably Bhutan's best known and most iconic Dzong. The Rinpung Dzong's names translate to the “Fortress on a heap of Jewels ". The fortress was constructed in 1644 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal on the foundations of an ancient monastery. Check in at your Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Paro.
PARO
You will have an early breakfast and walk about 2 hours to Taktshang Monastery perched giddily on a rocky ledge, with a waterfall cascading as if from the blue. Taktshang means ‘Tiger’s Nest’. Guru Padmasambhava, known as the Second Buddha, alighted from flying tigress and meditated at this shrine in the second half of the 8th century. As a result, it is the dream destination for Buddhist pilgrims from the world over. If desired, pony ridings would be arranged. Visit to Kyichu temple which dates back to the 7th century. Kyichu temple is one of the last three surviving temples. In the 7th century 108 such temples were built by a Tibetan King. To date only three have survived, two in Bhutan and one in Tibet, known as the Jokhang. Visit a Bhutanese farm house to see how a Bhutanese farmer lives. At the hotel typical Bhutanese cultural show will be shown. Overnight at Paro.
DEPARTURE PARO
Breakfast at the hotel. Free until departure transfer to the airport for flight back Kuala Lumpur.

~Drive to Punakha for 2.5 hours. On the way stop at Do Chula Pass 3050m for tea / coffee and enjoy our first view of the eastern Himalayan Mountains.
~Drive to north of Punakha for a short excursion to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten – stands majestically on a strategic ridge above the Punakha valley

~visit Kychu Temple – is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan which dates back to the 7th century
