Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive - Taipei

<p>Upon arrival at Taoyuan Airport, you will be welcomed and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free at your own leisure for the rest of the day.</p>

Day 2: Taipei – Miaoli – Chiayi

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel lobby. Proceed to Nanzhuang Old Street: The town features many preserved architecture and natural surroundings. Here mostly resided by the Hakka people, filled with all kinds of Hakka and aboriginal snacks and delicacies. Visit Hinoki Village which consisting of 28 wooden Japanese-style dormitories. There are some shops of creative cultural works like wooden furniture and food like fruit popsicle, as well as some small museums like Kano Story House. Continue to Tian Chang Di Jiou Bridge, was built in 1937, also known as the Lover’s Bridge which is situated in the middle of a deciduous forest with the cascading waters from the reiver running below. Transfer to Long Yun Leisure Farm (Nighttime Ecology/DIY), experience the ranch living and close to the nature and enjoy in-house DIY activities.</p>

Day 3: Chiayi - Tainan

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel. Proceed to Alishan Forest Recreation Area (Include Ticket), located in Alishan Township, covering an area of 1400 hectares with the main tourism spot locating at about 2,200 meters high above sea level. (Include one-way train ticket – Alishan Forest Railway). Continue to Fenqihu Old Street, a charming mountain village in Chiayi and is the largest along the Alishan Forest Railway. Here also can see many Japanese historical sites such as a Shinto shrine, train station and residences. Transfer to Dakeng Leisure Farm (Include Entrance Ticket), surrounded by mountains and covering a large area, the farm boasts a view of the sunrise over a sea of clouds that is not to be missed. Lots of small animals can be seen roaming freely in the farm’s meadow, making the farm seem like a tiny mountain utopia.</p>

Day 4: Tainan – Taichung

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel. Proceed to Tainan Confucius Temple + Fuzhong Street, more than 300 years of history as a Confucian temple, and it would be safe to say that this place is the heart of Tainan as an ancient capital of culture. One of the must-visit spots in Tainan, across from the temple and through the Pao Gao Stone Arch, you will find myriads of food stands and art studios along the 200-meter long Fuzhong Street. It is a beautiful contrast to the bustling town. Continue to Anping Old Street, the first street in Taiwan to be given a name, more than 300 years ago this was the first street built by the Dutch in Anping. Visit Blueprint Cultural and Creative, a popular spot packed with young people. Here, you can see many wooden artworks, postcards depicting Taiwan’s various streets and temples. There is even a theater company in charge of organizing a talk show here! Transfer to Rainbow Village, the only place in Taiwan with lots of colorful graffiti, a street art in Taichung. At night, go for Feng Jia Night market, one of the famous night markets in Taiwan.</p>

Day 5 : Taichung – Taipei

<p>After breakfast, meet guide at the hotel lobby. Proceed to Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf, well known for its beautiful sunsets and its high amount of party boats. The wharf has gone through a major renovation process, building several new buildings including restaurant, hotels, shops, and the Love Bridge of Tamsui completed in 2003. Continue to Tamsui Old Street, located along the riverfront in Tamsui, is a boardwalk like area full of shops, carnival games, restaurants, and snacks. Visit Martyrs’ Shrine, an attraction in fine architecture and scenery, Chinese history and war monuments and the dramatic ceremony of the changing of the honor guard at the shrine. Thereafter, transfer to 101 Xinyi Shopping District: The newest area of urban Taipei, the Xinyi shopping district is home to the famous Taipei 101, consist entertainment, shopping, and dining complexes.</p>

Day 6 : Taipei – Departure

<p>After breakfast at the hotel, free at leisure until time for transfer to Taoyuan Airport for your flight departure.</p>

Situated at the junction between Longqi and Xinhua in Tainan, is a traditional farming family that has lived in the area for generations. From the first generation, the Cai Family grew bamboo shoots, vegetables, fruits and kept chickens on the hill. Then, the second generation, Cai Chen-wen and his wife took over. In addition to animal husbandry, free-range chickens and Formosan sika deer cultivation, they transformed the Farm into a leisure farm after ten years in response to the changing of the times. Besides the original agricultural and livestock production, they gradually expanded their services to include dining and accommodation, etc. With its tranquil environment and rich rural atmosphere, as well as Mrs. Cai’s superb cooking and refreshing dishes served by the kitchen of the Farm, the mountain leisure farm is always crowed with visitors on holidays.
