Day-by-Day Itinerary
<p>Arrival at KLIA, meet by driver and transfers to your hotel. In the evening, Kuala Lumpur night tour. Chinatown – Chinatown Sample the local teh tarik (warm frothy tea) named after an act of mixing tea and milk in the air without spilling it to warm you on your evening stroll. Malayan Railway Administration Building (Pass By) and stopover at Merdeka Square. The River of Life Kuala Lumpur has been listed in world’s top 10 Waterfront Districts . Equipped with a Dancing Symphony Fountain, Blue Corridor, fog and <br />lighting effects. While waiting for the show to start around 8pm, you can enjoy shopping at the nearby Suria KLCC. </p>
<p>Discover the old and the new on this full-day tour which is designed to give you the best possible introduction to this bustling city as well as the outskirt areas. s. First we will make a photo stop at Petronas Twin Towers. Later head out of the metropolis to visit the extraordinary Batu Caves, a limestone hill riddled with caves and cave temples. Royal Selangor Pewter factory, learn about the production methods of this pioneering pewter maker and enjoy a short guided tour of the factory. Stop at Independence Square before the visit to KL City Gallery <em>(Closed on Tuesday)</em>. The National Mosque is a uniquely designed mosque that embodies a contemporary expression of traditional Islamic art, calligraphy and ornamentation. At night transfers to Atmosphere 360 Restaurant KL Tower for buffet dinner. Thereafter, return to hotel.</p>
<p>Day trip to historical town Malacca. Founded in 1403, Melaka is Malaysia’s oldest town, full of fascinating history and multi-cultural heritage. Relive history as you walk through the city’s historic buildings including the Stadthuys, St. Paul’s church and the mighty fortress – Porta de Santiago, built by the Portuguese in 1512. Then, have time to stroll along the Jonker Street, known for its antiques, souvenirs, arts and crafts. Lunch is included. </p>
<p><em>Please note: As there is quite a bit of walking on this tour, good walking shoes will be required </em><br /><em>Thereafter, we return to Kuala Lumpur (journey approx. 2 hours)</em></p>
<p>Morning at own leisure. Afternoon Firefly Phenomenon tour at Kuala Selangor. This afternoon tour takes you southwest of the city, travelling through the rural countryside. Sekinchan Paddy Field located about 95km from Kuala Lumpur has vast, well-irrigated and organized paddy fields. Next, stopover at Masjid Jamek Sultan Ibrahim follow by Melawati Hill has several remnants from the past that appeal to those interested in its history. Thereafter, reaching Kuala Selangor wetland reserve, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking scenery of the mangrove forests, home to an incredibly nocturnal beetle commonly called firefly. </p>
<p><em>Please note: Like many nature’s great events, the display of the flashing fireflies is influenced by weather conditions. </em><br /><em>Please also bear in mind that mosquitoes come out more in the evening and at night, so it is essential that you bring </em><br /><em>along insect repellent.</em></p>
<p>Free until time transfers to KLIA for your flight (Own booking) to Penang. Upon arrival, meet by driver and transfers to you hotel. At night, Penang Night tour. Transfer for dinner at Gurney Drive Hawker Center (own expenses) followed by a visit to the Night Market at Batu Ferringhi. A slow walk at Gurney driver before we return to hotel. <br />(In the event of raining, visit to night market will be replace by shopping mall) Overnight (2 nights) Penang.</p>
<p>Morning, Hill & Temple Tour. Also known as the Temple of Supreme Bliss, Kek Lok Si Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia and arguably one of the most iconic landmarks in Penang. For a panoramic view of Georgetown and the Straits of Malacca, hop on the funicular train and ride up to the top of Penang Hill. </p>
<p><em>Please note: When visiting sacred temples or places of worship, it is best to show respect in dress code. Dress as </em><br /><em>modestly as possible (shorts, miniskirts and sleeveless tops are inappropriate and must be avoided). A small </em><br /><em>donation of MYR2.00/person is required when entering the Pagoda. At times, without advance notice, the funicular </em><br /><em>train may be closed due to inclement weather or for routine maintenance. When this happens, it will be substituted </em><br /><em>with a visit to Tropical Spice Garden.</em></p>
<p>Afternoon, Historical Georgetown tour, named after King George III of England, is known for its well preserved colonial buildings. Next, visit the Colonial Penang Museum for a glimpse into the state’s rich heritage and make stops at Wat <br />Chayamangkalaram Siamese temple and Dhammikarama Burmese temple to take in their striking architectural style. Later, pay a visit to a favorite local chocolate shop for an opportunity to browse some of its finest products. Entrance tickets are included. In the event that Colonial Penang Museum is closed, it will be replace by Peranakan Mansion. </p>
<p>Free until time transfers to Penang International Airport for your flight (Own Booking) to Langkawi. <br />Upon arrival, meet by driver and transfers to you hotel. <br />Overnight (3 nights) Langkawi Island. </p>
<p>Mangroves, Rocky Cliffs & River Cruise. Take a river cruise to discover the maze of 450-million-year limestone formations and tangled mangroves. Learn about the park’s history, geology and wildlife from your knowledgeable guide and take in the natural beauty of the area. Explore an ancient cave filled with bats, stalagmites and stalactites and pause to have your lunch at a floating fish farm restaurant. Weather permitting, stop and relax at a secluded beach backed by rocky cliffs, formed after centuries of erosion. Lunch is included. </p>
<p><em>Please note: This tour is not suitable for anyone with walking or mobility problems due to getting on and off the </em><br /><em>speed boat, as well as the uneven ground at the sites.</em></p>
