Day-by-Day Itinerary
<p>Upon arrival at Sulthan Iskandar Muda International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and begin a city tour, visiting the Tsunami Mass Grave, the iconic Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, and the Aceh Tsunami Museum. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants. After the tour, check in to the hotel and enjoy free time at your leisure.</p>
<p>After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Uleu Lheue Port to catch the 08:00 AM fast ferry to Sabang. Upon arrival, explore the beauty of Weh Island with visits to Sumur Tiga Beach, Gapang Beach, and Kilometer Zero, Indonesia’s westernmost point. Continue to Iboih Beach, where you have the option to enjoy snorkeling, diving, or a glass-bottom boat ride <strong>(at your own expense)</strong>. Surrounded by lush marine life and coral reefs, Iboih is a favorite for both local and international visitors. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.</p>
<p>Following breakfast and check-out, return to Banda Aceh by ferry. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing with a city tour. Highlights include a visit to PLTD Apung 1, the massive ship carried inland by the 2004 tsunami, which now stands as a powerful monument. The tour also includes visits to a local pesantren (Islamic boarding school) and a Rumah Yatim (orphanage). End the day with shopping at Pasar Atjeh before checking in to your hotel and enjoying dinner at a local restaurant.</p>
